| Our vision is simple, we want to provide two permanent clinics complete with medical supplies and equipment adjacent to two of the nine churches. We hope to bring electricity to one of the clinics which will allow for refrigeration and the use of various medical and dental devices. The clinics will be used in multiple ways. When medical teams come to Chirripo they will use these facilities and be able to provide better medical/dental care for the Cabecars. Additionally, the clinics will help attract other medical/dental teams to the area, giving the Cabecars more frequent and consistent care. The presence of these clinics will allow us to ship supplies and equipment directly to Costa Rica making it much easier to go through customs. The clinics will also serve as a teaching facility for the Cabecars. We hope to provide basic medical training to some of the Indians who then will provide basic care and health education to the tribe. Through the grace of God and with your gifts and prayers, we hope to fulfill this vision. |
